Today, we had a guest speaker named Grey Chisholm, a Career Consultant in the NTU employability team, he talked about the basic things that the team does, advice, and support that the NTU employability team can provide for students and graduates.
giving insight into the availability of Online tools and resources that will support or guide us during our journey.
He also asked a question about why students do postgraduate study and that gave me deep thinking because most of us have various reasons, for me coming from Nigeria the pressure to get a Postgraduate study is to get better chances of getting a better job offers and also getting promotion in your existing roles already, and that is quite different from another student in general.
Use this as common examples of why students do postgraduate study…and explain that some are more informed reasons than others, although it can depend on the context.
