This lecture was an insight to all the things that Creative Uk is all about, starting with the part that the industry is structure to generate opportunities for Innovation and creative-minded people and businesses, by nurturing their core fundamental values.
Lee mentioned that they help to connect creative minded people wide world, and this is a great platform that can allow collaboration, not just that I like that they took into consideration to celebrate different form of creativity in everyone through diverse voice and stories.
Knowing that this such a supportive community exist is amazing because its gives awareness of where you can meet up other artist in terms of collaboration, different talents, new idea seeking and also gain knowledge of skills that you need to develop for the future.
Lee also made mention of Creative Uk been a journey for transforming lives by empowering, supporting, and accelerating changes in general. It's good to know, that some Countries are concern about their creatives space expansion. This made me wonder how or when will some third countries like mine (Nigeria) get to this stage know very well that they haven't even finished tackling the electricity issue since 1960. But this would have been a great deal if we have such platform that can empower our Creatives to develop, grow and nurture the creative ideas for a better future of the Country.
The big question is how many of us in Nigeria are even technology or Digital survey? a country that data that soft skills is seen as online fraud and lazy man's job and in lane man's term is called 'Yahoo' in a nutshell what lam saying is that a lot cannot be changed in our Nigeria and until then these Creative lives stays with developed countries. And we will continue travelling to get them.
